RICHARD W. SHANKLAND
Born and raised in Kansas City, Richard has practiced law here since earning his law degree from UMKC in 1977. Richard's integrity and proficiency have helped him establish a sterling reputation among both his clients and his peers.
Annually, Richard instructs a Continuing Legal Education (CLE) course in probate law for UMKC. In 2003, he co-chaired a case that won the year's fifth largest verdict in Missouri.
Richard and his wife, Marilyn, have been married for 30 years. They have two children, Russell and Emma.
